Llewelyn is a Professor at the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University and a member of the steering committee for the University's Zero-Carbon Energy for the Asia-Pacific initiative. His research explores the political and economic dimensions of energy transitions, with a particular interest in how states pursue industrial competitiveness while addressing climate change. Drawing on a global supply chain perspective, his work examines the governance of low-carbon technologies and energy systems.
